Ms. Brey is an author of numerous articles on immigration law, including annually the Chapter, “Immigration” in the Institute of Continuing Legal Education's Employment Law in Michigan: An Employer's Guide (2015). As well, she has presented nationally on immigration in the field of health care and corporate compliance and immigration. Ms. Brey is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyer's Association (AILA) in which she has served on various national committees, including Department of Labor, Department of State, Nebraska Service Center, AILA Liaison to Mexican Consulates and as AILA’s Michigan Chapter Chair. She also chaired AILA's Physician Committee.
After receiving her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University, she graduated cum laude from The Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She holds an LL.M. from The Georgetown University Law Center.
